This is a couture hand made ribbon sash. It is made with silk Duchess satin cut on bias and sewn together to form the sash. This technique results in an elegant sash that has a rich silky feel, body and a beautiful drape. This sash measures 1 1/2" wide and comes in a variety of lengths and colors.

    The sash is lovely in terms of quality, but the regular ivory is much darker than I expected. My wedding dress is technically ivory, but the ivory sash doesn't quite match. It looked slightly off but maybe still close enough in color when I first held it up to the dress while it was on the hanger. A week later I finally got around to trying it on with the dress, but I'm having some second thoughts. I think it's past the return window, though, so I'm not sure yet if I will use the sash for the wedding in a month or not. All in all, lovely sash but just a note to other buyers that even the regular ivory is a bit on the darker side!
